After several meetings, MAPTO, City of Mandurah and Mandurah Cruises have forged a strong new partnership with Ostar Media group which has resulted in the destination, tourism product and events to be featured in their media platforms over the coming months, including the Oriental Post newspaper, Chinese Radio FM90.5 FM104.5, Oriental Lifestyle website and Wechat. Ostar targets the 50,000 plus Perth Chinese community which totals at least 50,000 plus audiences in China, Hong Kong, Macau and South East Asia through their digital channels. Promotional activities already taking place include Mandurah Cruises hosting the group on a Wild Seafood Experience cruise with videos and images of the trip to be posted online by Ostar, City of Mandurah arranging an interview with the Mayor to air on their radio station and advertising of upcoming events and weekly editorial content on the destination in the Oriental Post.
